Divorce or Separation
You don’t have
to go through it alone
This is a 13-week divorce care support group led by those who have experienced divorce. Topics include: kids’ care, finances, depression, anger, and forgiveness. Couples, counselors, and others who have a passion for those hurting from divorce are also welcome. This is an open group and individuals can come in at anytime. Required workbook is available in the Bookstore. Childcare can be arranged. For more information, contact Mike Welch at mwelch@nelson-atkins.org.
Cost for childcare is as follows:
Meeting for 2 hours: $2 per child per hour with a $10 cap for families with several children.
Meeting longer than 2 hours: $2 per child per hour with a $20 cap for families with several children.

The ultimate goal in the class is to bring people to a greater revelation of God as their Father. With this revelation comes the ability to break addictions, break spiritual bondage, restore identity, break insecurities, and grow in relationship with peers, authority figures, and God. In 1988, Gary and Carla Heese felt impressed to work in missions and joined Youth With a Mission (YWAM). They began working in discipleship schools in Kona, Hawaii. During that time, Gary noticed the need for healing in some of the young people attending the schools. They felt called to minister to those who were struggling with the wounds of their past. . .continued
