Freedom Groups are Christ-centered groups for men desiring freedom from being sexually driven. These groups provide confidential support, and accountability, which are key for men who are serious about getting free from sexual addictions. We use a 12-step program for sex addicts developed by Dr. Doug Weiss of Colorado Springs. Our goal is to end bondage to sex addiction, restore families, and to turn loose lions in the Church (see Proverbs 28:1). If you think you may be a sex addict, we encourage you to get the help you need. Contact one of the group leaders listed below. We have several locations/times in the KC metro area; specific times and locations are kept confidential.

The Partner's Groups are for women who've been in relationship with a sex addict. The pain of living with an addict can be overwhelming. In a group, we are comforted to know there are others who can understand this pain. We learn how to establish healthy boundaries and are encouraged to deal with our own unhealthy behaviors. While working through the 12-Step program (developed by Dr. Doug Weiss), many spouses of sex addicts have experienced a deep intimacy with the Lord, as He has brought them comfort and healing. Gary and Carla Heese of Vineyard Church and a network of The leaders of Oaks of Righteousness Ministry who have been trained to share the teaching and ministry methods that have helped them in their personal lives and relationships. We invite you to join us.
The ultimate goal in the class is to bring people to a greater revelation of God as their Father. With this revelation comes the ability to break addictions, break spiritual bondage, restore identity, break insecurities, and grow in relationship with peers, authority figures, and God. We offer classes that focus on specific areas to reach this goal. Introduction to Oaks
In 1988, Gary and Carla Heese felt impressed to work in missions and joined Youth With a Mission (YWAM). They began working in discipleship schools in Kona, Hawaii. During that time, Gary noticed the need for healing in some of the young people attending the schools. They felt called to minister to those who were struggling with the wounds of their past. . .continued
